Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is an Icelandic CrossFit professional athlete. The owner is of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie is the sole female in history to have won in the CrossFit Games two times. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit and media celebrity. She has gained fame for being the sole woman who has ever won two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. She is also known for being the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland together with her parents and siblings. As a exercising enthusiast since a young age she participated in a variety of school sports and was awarded numerous medals. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit competitions in California where she performed relatively very well during the initial competitions. Annie Thorisdottir, at the time of her 2021 birthday, is age 31. She is 5'7 tall and she weighs about 67 kgs. Annie started the CrossFit journey in 2009 in California. She did well in her first competitions and was within the top 10 of 70. However, she was unable to earn any titles, but ended up in 11th place on the list of final results. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In the same year, under Jami's direction, she was awarded the gold medal at the CrossFit Games. Following that, she participated again at CrossFit Games and won them due to her impressive performance. It was her first time as a woman to win CrossFit Games. Annie was the first female to win successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. In 2014, she also took home a gold. And in 2021, she was awarded the bronze medal. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. Annie became a celebrity athlete when she gained recognition.
