Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She's also a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the only female ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter and media-star. She was the first woman to win the CrossFit Games in 2011, and in 2012, two times. She is also known for taking home the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was brought up with her family living in Reykjavik Iceland. Annie was an avid sportsperson and started working out at an early age. She participated for the first time in 2009 in CrossFit Games in California and did extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir is expected to turn 31 by 2021. She stands at 5'7" and her weight is approximately 67kg. Annie started CrossFit in California, in 2009. Her performance was impressive during her first competitions. She ranked at the top of the list in a field of 70. She did not manage to make it to the top of the tournament, and ended her time with an overall score of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen. Annie came in 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. It was her second year of competition that she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she was the first woman to be awarded CrossFit Games. Annie has an impressive performance in 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first woman in history to have won both CrossFit Games. Additionally, in 2014 Annie won a Silver Medal and most recently, in 2021, she was awarded Bronze at the CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has been the face for various brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs and Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration as well as Sidekick Yerbae. There are a few thousand subscribers to her self-titled Youtube channel where videos of training along with travel vlogs, family and training videos are posted.
